Careers in the ARTS and Virtual Portfolio (website)

Required Information for Careers and Education Options
• Address why you choose to research that particular school.
On our last couple of days we will be sharing these!
REQUIREMENTS for the FINAL Website Presentation
How you set up your website is ultimately up to you! However these are the things to consider and MUST be included. . .
- Create a "who am I page" or artists statement
- Create a page with a final gallery of no less than 6 quality pieces. These can be from past art classes, independent work,
- Be sure there are three Share and Reflect Blog posts. . . there needs to be process pictures AND the work in its final state.
ALL of the images in the gallery should be cropped, have a title, medium, and size listed.
Suggestions for schools to research:
- Feel free to branch out and look for other options, there are a lot more out there.

- Description of the career field you are investigating.
- What interests you about this field?
- What education is required to be competitive in the job market for the career you have chosen to explore?
- Name a school [college, university, art institute] that offers programs in this field. (Students may not select the same school.)
- Location, size, and examples of other art programs that are offered.
- Example of one class that is offered in the program. Please describe the class.
- What type of degree can you earn?
- PORTFOLIO requirements for admission to the school or program must be included.
• Address why you choose to research that particular school.
- Be prepared to present your research to the class in this format. . .
- Google Slides
- Include the website for the school or institute in your presentation
